Hailing from the town of Ballyfermot, who gave us such
Legends in Irish music as Paddy Sweeney, The Fureys, The Keenans and many more,
The full Irish have strived to continue an age old tradition in bringing ballads
to the masses.Set up in 2006 This Dynamic duo have found their strengths
in their influences and really pack a punch with the crowd! With Joe Gibney on
vocals and whistles and Fintan Phelan on Guitar and backing vocals they have an
enormous energy on stage that is just dying to get out! Joe's amazing vocal capabilities
will bring a tear to your eye with one song and have you dancing with joy to the
next. The Full Irish have an abundance of influences to draw their repertoire
from but have a particular love of the work of the late Luke Kelly. Other
influences include Paddy Sweeney, The Dubliners, The Fureys, Al O Donnell, Jim
McCann, Paddy Reilly, Christy Moore and Planxty. The Full Irish are available to
take bookings and can cater for corporate events, Weddings, Birthdays and
regular pub spots.
